Colin Usher, Founder, MD
For the past few years, Colin has been involved in designing and managing releases of iPhone & iPad Applications (apps).
From concept through to deployment in the app stores, wireframing and project management, he has seen over 10 apps released.
Other activity: Digital Media Consultant, Web Designer, Videographer, 3D Visualisation, Photographer & Designer.
He has been involved in a wide array of projects ranging from producing and directing pop videos for such bands as The Proclaimers and The High Fidelity, to corporate photography & video production, his own exhibitions & even drumming in… Ten Storeys High, The Olives, Tonight At Noon, Vodka, The Twist from Kirkcaldy & The Ghost Train as well as performing a few gigs with Buckley’s Chance who’s guitarist is Malcolm Ross of Aztec Camera, Orange Juice and Josef K with Paul Haig.
As a photographer, Colin has worked with The Face magazine, The Scotsman, Traverse Theatre, X-Factor Dance Co, Terry Beck Troupe from Philadelphia, Boilerhouse Theatre & Benchtours to mention but a few…
For the past 11 years, he has also worked closely with The Proclaimers & their management on their media needs.
Colin also recently became part of the team at QikServe™ in the role of Media Manager.
This part time position places him firmly at the forefront of mobile technology in Scotland and sees him working with many of the country’s innovators.
