Colin has been a professional photographer since moving to Edinburgh in 1988, working with the likes of The Face Magazine, Traverse Theatre, The Proclaimers, NME, The Scotsman, Lyceum Theatre, Terry Beck Dance Troupe and a variety of corporate publications.
Colin still spends a whole chunk of time behind the camera to support digital projects and directing promo videos.
Recently Colin has undertaken a new series of shoots for a community enterprise and has the bit between his teeth again. Available for commissions, portrait work and well, try him… he may just say yes!
With the evolution of DSLR video and the Canon range of lenses and kits, alongside Edelkrone and Manfrotto and the new Final Cut Pro, Colin also enjoys diving into video projects that may not have the EMI, SONY or Hollywood (or Holyrood) budgets of the 80s but with a bit of creative flair and loads of collaboration with the ‘talent’… good things happen.
